Emergent indie group The Truants made their Australian festival debut at Groovin' The Moo 2009 after a string of powerful grass roots performances.
This laid the platform for support gigs with Birds Of Tokyo, Josh Pyke and Numbers Radio, as well as a spot on the Full Noise Festival lineup in October 2009.
Permeated by a raft of influences, the five-piece present a unique soundscape strewn with buzz-saw guitars, soaring vocals and thumping rhythms.
