Keyboard player/binge composer/song writer/song cycler
http://myspace.com/tefisk for lots of blarney
All player tracks both here and on the myspace and mysongcast sites are digital transfers of live solo improvisations originally recorded on analogue tape. As I gradually learn the how the hell do I do that of digital editing they should improve sound quality wise and I even might get access to some studio facilities one of these days...

[1,] "Approaching Storm Clouds" is an excerpt [part 3] from "Storm of the Heart" a 77 minute soundtrack extravaganza inspired by some North Queensland wet season experiences [Kuranda] mixed with the underlying psychological flavour of domestic and social stormy weather being played out in my environment at the time. [3,4,5.] "Playing By My "Self" / "By A Long Stretch / Tribal Dance", as well as "Lost On The Moors/ Found On The Moors" and "Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier" on the T E Fisk MySpace site were all taken from the "Dance Music" album . And now things get seriously "Other". Couple of toons about finding the will to be as an indivual ["Shepherd"] and as a group ["In Step"]. [6] "Shepherd" [my extended reworking - some may say derangement - of an old English folk song] comes from I know not where. The keyboard used was a battery operated Casio, not really traditional but then neither is this. [7] "In Step" is a drastically edited version of a 40 minute continuous instrumental that was originally intended to illustrate the Long Dance sequence from Arthur C Clark's book "Childhoods End". Out of context it could refer to any sustained group movement. Your average metal band even when playing at the suspended animation tempo of this track don't usually use battery operated Casio keyboards for their grunge but that was all I had available at the time so.... This edited version of "In Step" does cover similar territory to the earlier "By A Long Stretch / Tribal Dance" but that track was more about an indivual merging their will into that of a group whereas this is about group will absorbing the combined consciousness of its environment then merging into something greater [8] "One Night As I Lay On My Bed" To lighten things up a bit [maybe] a "love" song historically traced to 1803. The third of a trio of United Kingdom folk songs included on the final version of the second demo album. Started off traditional then ran off into the mulga [as usual]. [9] "Humidity" is the last section of "Night Walk 2" from "Storm of the Heart". See http://www.mysongcast.com/artist/t_e_fisk for demo of entire album. [10] "Fast Step" is the first of the three part "Dance Music" sequence. [11] All One Race Epiphany" is the second section of a much longer improvisation that follows the verses from my music setting of Kath Walker's poem "All One Race". The song cycle it comes from, "Community Rain Dance", may get a public airng one of these days but I have to a lot more street cred or finance before I will be allowed to record that of course.
